I headed out to the Occupy DC camp at McPherson Square on Saturday morning with the intention of shooting their march to Bank of America and then the White House on the second anniversary of the Citizens United decision. Unfortunately, the procession was canceled due to inclement weather — the DC area received only about a half-inch of snow overnight, but the streets were blanketed with sleet and ice. Not wanting to have nothing to show for sacrificing my hallowed weekend morning sleep time, I shot the following video about how some campers were dealing with the district’s first real brush with winter.
